  . I have been a Capital West customer since the first of the year. I am so impressed with the professionalism and competentcy of the staff at Capital West. I own a small business and problems have a tendency to arise. They get on task and solve the problems, every time. It is amazing. There are times when I feel like the whole bank is working for me!   Ever since the merger when ANB took over Capital West Bank my experience has been terrible. For the first 3+ months, every single time I made a transaction there was a mistake on the bank's side including depositing funds into the wrong account, and crediting payments to the wrong line of credit causing erroneous charges to be levied. The experience with customer service getting that sorted out was abrupt and rude. I miss the stellar team from Capital West (the ones responsible for the two 5-star ratings).

  This bank has been nothing but one big headache. Opened the account because it was a local Colorado bank, and close to my home. That was a year ago. In all of that time, even though I've requested help, I've never been able to access my account online. Not once! They've also still not been able to get my address correct even though I've gone onto my branch over and over again requesting they add my apartment number so my banking mail doesn't sit at the post office for over two weeks! Then, when ANB swallowed up Capital West they never told me that my routing number had changed. I even went in and asked if my Capital West checks and the numbers on them We're still valid. I wanted to know if I needed to order ANB checks. The teller told me that my checks were fine and nothing would change, just the name. Then one day I was horrified to found that my pay was being withheld because the routing number was rejected by my payroll service. I went into the branch AGAIN and was told oh yeah, that changed. I asked why I want informed and got a shoulder shrug. I also AGAIN requested my address be updated and let then know I still couldn't access online banking. I was told my address was updated and given a new set of instructions for online setup. None of which worked, and I today received yet another piece of mail (ironically enough, online instructions for mobile access -- that of course did not work! ) that was addressed incorrectly, mailed by ANB on April 28th. I received it on June 8th. What is seriously wrong with you people? The people in the Fort Collins branch are super nice. Apparently this is a systemic issue and out of their control. They've tried to help me, to no avail. I'm literally done with this bank.
